An Introduction to The Screwtape CPA Letters

C. S. Lewis’ The Screwtape Letters is a fictional book of letters written from a senior devil (Screwtape) to his nephew apprentice devil (Wormwood), instructing him on how to properly tempt the human race while holding our shortcomings up to ridicule.  Written by C. S. Lewis during the gloomy period of World War II, we write our version during a gloomy recession in the US with great economic uncertainly.  C. S. Lewis dedicated his book to his dear friend, J. R. R. Tolkien.  We dedicate our writings to you our clients.

We too will poke fun at our shortcomings.  The IRS, our governments and our business lives are fair game also - all the while hoping to fulfill our purpose:  helping you to be the very best that you can be, personally or in business.

The Screwtape Letters is a must-read.  There is also a stage version which is quite entertaining.

We hope you enjoy our series of fictional letters between these two devils discussing tax and business issues.  We call them the Screwtape CPA Letters.  Remember the letters are to be read backwards – with the understanding that the teaching is exactly opposite of what one would really do.  These devils' goal is to trick and deceive you.  Don’t fall into their deception.
